Macy's - Kelly Osbourne. When did she go and become all cute? My co-worker Kyla works for O'Neill... I am pleasantly surprised by their recent ads. Cute boho chic.

Musings from Nylon September 2011.
Gotta love the texture of this skirt and her attitude:
I love the mural behind her almost as much as I love her pant/shoe combo. Below, Jennifer Morrison in a little H&M yellow number that I am very tempted to rush down and get.

New shoes from Charles David

So about once a year I drop a ridiculous amount of money on a pair of high quality shoes just for me. A couple of years ago it was some Frye black booties. This year it is these beauties Spire which I saw in Lucky magazine by Charles David.

I think I have just found love in the form of a shoe.

After purchasing these on Zappos.com I scoped out Charles David's blog The Chronicle. You can see how they are styled here. They are vintage Victorian mixed with a little 1970's platform. When I looked on Charles David I saw a bunch more styles I love as well, which means I am in trouble!

Cards and Wrappings

I came across these cards by Tibi. I like her style of sketches... whimsical, urban, and yet nerdy at the same time.
Here is a set you can buy on the website and it comes with a cute charm.Kate's Paperie has come out with an enormous selection of beautiful papers especially for the holidays.
Erdem pink floral version printed paper ($3.59 at KatesPaperie.com) and Cavallini’s vintage dessert-illustration sheets ($4.50 at KatesPaperie.com). “Newspaper” by English documentary photographer Janette Beckman would be perfect for most small boxes ($7.50, Arkitip.com). To close it all up, you could use the multicolored rolls made of Japanese dashi paper, sold exclusively at the MoMA Design Store (ten rolls for $30, MoMAstore.org).

Dream Catcher

Sara Burton was Alexander McQueen's right hand lady for 14 years. She had to be quick with his creative visions and almost complete his sentences. Now that McQueen is gone, she is doing just that... continuing his artistic visions right where he left off. Below, Sara Burton posing in the January Vogue 2011 issue.
Mesh and tulle dress I adore from the Spring runway show.
Another photo from Vogue - love the amber colors.
A close up look at this remarkable butterfly dress:
...and this ombre ruffle dress. Pure beauty.

Lovely Swan

Have you seen the January Vogue issue with Natalie Portman on it? She is gorgeous! She is the leading actress in Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan, in which she plays a ballerina who has a double and battles with her own ego. The film is racy and suspenseful, but I love the contrast of these photos that are more light and ethereal. Portman grew up taking ballet lessons and trained for 8 hours a day for two months before filming. Above is a photo of her in a Valentino tulle dress with a delicate rose applique detail. Below, she is featured in a J. Mendel silk chiffon dress and belt.Rodarde's LauraMulleavy, is fitting Natalie's tutu for Black Swan below: Click on photos to enlarge
